Happy New Year! 2013 is a fresh year with new sales goals. Have you done your sales business plan yet? Are you starting this year with a solid understanding of HOW you will exceed your number or get that next role or project? The new year brings with it many opportunities to sell and achieve our goals – professional and personal. In this first issue of my Sales Culture Newsletter for 2013, I want to share my thoughts with you on hubris and humility. I think you will enjoy it!

Things have been busy here as well. I am pleased to introduce Gina Mastrocola as the newest member of my team! Gina will be handling many of the day-to-day details of the business and my speaking engagements and workshops.

Finally, Gene Marks and I are excited to announce the first of our planned open seminars on sales culture and sales technology for 2013. The date is February 27 in Philadelphia! Registration details can be found here.

Some days I have these moments when I say “I think I have seen it all now.” Those moments don’t happen often, because people always come up with something new that makes me stop and think about what I have just witnessed.
