I am glad that you enjoyed last month’s Sales Culture Newsletter on sales clichés. I hope you will visit my blog to see some of the funny additions that my readers have added. In the coming months, I will publish more sales clichés that you have offered up, so please keep them coming!

In this month’s newsletter, I want to share with you my thoughts on what a “class act” is and how that absolutely helps make more sales happen! I also want to offer a few ruminations on what I did when my PC, Wi-Fi card, and cell phone all died in one sitting. It was actually fun, and I did more business as a result.

And the BIG news is that I’m also excited to announce a City-Wide Sales Culture and Sales Technology Summit with my colleague Gene Marks and two amazing guests – Howard Yermish and Mitch Lapides. The date is December 13 and the location is Philadelphia. The first two summits were sold out, so sign up early. Make sure you put this date on your calendar!

Are You a "Class Act"?

When I was growing up, I occasionally heard my father use the expression “He is a class act” when talking about someone he had encountered or done business with. In the ensuing years, I have used the expression myself, and now I am thinking about all of the class acts that I have seen and been a recipient of in the past few years.
