Your Sales Culture Call to Action for 2009!

Back to the Action!

Happy New Year <<First Name>>!   A new selling year has arrived!  Now that 2009 is here, it's time for us to punch the "reset button" and avoid the post holiday sales swoon* so we get off to an exciting start to the selling year!  On that note, here is my challenge to you:

Will 2009 be a good year as a sales rep or will you have a great  year as a sales professional?
 
<<First Name>>, here is your 7 Point Sales Culture Call to Action:

1-Embrace and celebrate your promotion to Chief Sales Officer.  You are the CSO of your business, territory or professional practice!  I don't care if you are an accountant, lawyer, business owner or a sales professional with a territory.  You are responsible for developing and closing business.

2-Who can you ask and leverage to be a part of your virtual team? (Tip - people want to be asked!)

3-Are you coaching, mentoring and inspiring those around you?

4- Do you accept that you are fully accountable?  No excuses in 2009!

5-Are you taking every opportunity to be educated?  Sales professionals are multi-dimensional in thought and action.

6-Can you manage multiple lines of business and multiple sales campaigns?

7-Sale Culture starts with you fully understanding that every action you perform must benefit the client first.
Sales Culture=Sense of Urgency.

Remember -  how well you do this first quarter is a strong predictor on how you will finish your entire year.
